The ASQ-3 takes a deeper dive than what is generally asked at well-child checks. You will gain insight of your child’s performance in the following areas:

Communication: This checks your child's language skills, what they can understand and what they can say.

Gross Motor: This checks how your child uses their arms, legs, and other large muscles for sitting, crawling, walking, running, and other activities.

Fine Motor: This checks your child's hand and finger movements and coordination.

Problem Solving: This checks how your child plays with toys and solves problems.

Personal-Social: This checks your child's self-help skills and how they interact with others.

The "Overall" section asks you open-ended questions about your child's development and allows you to share any concerns you may have.
